Pat & Jean’s Place is all about turning textile waste into something beautiful, useful, and joy-filled. Instead of more landfill, we create eco-friendly party decorations, table styling, and hands-on workshops using handmade and pre-loved textiles.

Why it matters

Cutting down plastic—especially around food—is personal for me. After losing my mum Jean and auntie Pat to cancer, and seeing close friends go through it too, I started looking more closely at what we’re exposed to every day.

That’s where our beeswax wraps come in—an easy, natural swap for cling wrap in your kitchen and lunchboxes.

A bit about me (Sarah)

I’ve spent 25+ years in the fashion industry (design, production, compliance), so I’ve seen firsthand how much waste and overproduction exists—especially with fast fashion.

That led me to create an organic cotton baby brand (formerly Viddia), focused on ethical production, fair wages, and certified materials like GOTS.

But I kept asking… how can I do more?

Pat & Jean’s Place is my answer—a step toward circular, creative, community-driven change. From upcycling workshops to eco party hire, it’s about doing better, in a way that feels warm, creative, and connected.
