About the event

A new school holiday program at Wyndham Park Community Centre is offering local tweens and teenagers the chance to learn valuable life skills while embracing sustainability. The "Upcycle Your Old Clothes" workshop, led by local expert Sarah from Pat and Jean’s Place, empowers participants to transform their old, unused garments into stylish, trendy outfits using sewing machines.

The program, designed for creative young people, offers hands-on lessons in fashion design and sewing, giving attendees the tools to breathe new life into their clothes.

All materials are included for the course, which is priced at just $147.

“Not only do we teach essential skills like sewing, but we also help foster creativity while promoting sustainability,” said Sarah, the workshop leader.

“This is an opportunity for teens to learn something practical while also contributing to a more eco-conscious world.”

The program runs at Wyndham Park Community Centre, located at Kookaburra Avenue, Wyndham…
